Hey there!

My name is Jasper!

I am the face behind the lens (and the computer screen and the phone depending on the project) at Revive Media.

All my life, I have loved creating. I am a creative at heart. I believe God has placed a uniqueness inside each of us, and He is the ultimate Creator. It is my desire to reflect His creativity and beauty in the work that I do, whether it is design or photography or videography. I love creating things that add value for people.

From a young age, I inherited a love for photography from my grandfather who gave me my first cameras. Then when I was 16 I bought my first Nikon DSLR and fell in love with photography even more. I was the Editor In Chief for my high school yearbook for three years, growing in the fundamentals of design, photography, and writing. I spent plenty of time even as a young kid creating my own design projects in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (yes, I am THAT old - LOL).

Me circa 2016 getting my high school senior photos taken...time flies!

In 2018, I did my first internship with a digital media company in Branson, Missouri. As a college junior, I did camera work at a Christian TV studio for a year. It was one of the best experiences I ever had. After graduating from Missouri State University in 2020 (yes it was a crazy time) with a degree in communication studies, I spent a year out in Colorado with a ministry focused on prayer and intercession after doing their ministry school. I worked full time creating social media content, gaining experience by working with and learning from other creative minds in ministry along the way.

Me with Jim and Lori Bakker on Grace Street at Morningside in 2019. Getting to work here was a huge blessing and gave me invaluable experience in videography.

I spent some time in 2020 (and 2021, and 2022, and 2023) getting a master's degree in leadership (I know...what was I thinking?). Actually, God used that experience to teach me so many things. And it gave me time to continue growing and learning as a person. And after seven years of school and a whole lot of waiting, it was finally time for me to spread my wings and fly (or at least hit the ground after leaving the nest and then fly). I moved down to Northwest Arkansas in 2023. Ever since then, I have continued growing in the areas of website design and logo design.

This has allowed me to expand my areas of work within digital and creative media while helping to meet the needs of business owners and others with creative solutions. I love getting to do what I do and not just for compensation (even though it helps to fuel my love for Chick fil A). Getting to help people bring their dreams to life is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. It is my hope that the work I do glorifies God and helps people to fulfill their God given dreams to make an impact in the world. And hopefully have fun along the way too. :)

Oh look! It's me with my face behind a camera again! (As if that is even surprising). If the weather is nice and the subject matter is interesting, I could go shooting for hours at a time. At which point I have to remind myself to drink some water and maybe take a break. Taking photos out in nature is a great way for me to relax and enjoy just getting content for fun without any pressure. There is an abundance of natural beauty here in the Ozarks which makes for lots of great photo opportunities!
